Bloody Maria

The Bloody Maria reimagines a brunch (or anytime) classic – the Bloody Mary – with tequila. This recipe brings together bold tomato juice, savory Worcestershire sauce, zesty lemon, and a spicy kick of Tabasco and horseradish with our distinctive Blanco Tequila.

Bloody Maria

The Key to Making a Great Bloody Maria

Why do we love this Bloody Maria? The cooked agave, citrus, and pepper notes of our Blanco Tequila complement the tangy, complex flavors of the tomato juice and Worcestershire sauce, while the lemon juice, horseradish, and Tabasco add acid and spice. The Bloody Maria is extremely customizable, too: Adjust heat and salt levels to suit your preferences.

We recommend going over the top with garnishes (think of this cocktail as a salad you’re adding toppings to). Some of our favorites are a stalk of celery, olives (any kind), gherkins, pickled jalapeño, or a wedge of lime – but the possibilities are endless. Because this is a tequila cocktail, feel free to mix it up with a spiced rim made of kosher or flaky sea salt, paprika, pepper, and garlic powder.
