Código 1530 Añejo Tequila

Añejo refers to a type of tequila that’s been aged after the distilling process. To be considered “añejo,” the tequila must age between one and three years, most commonly in an oak barrel.

Tequila Blanco is generally bottled immediately after distillation, while Añejo tequilas are aged after distillation.

While Reposado tequilas are also aged, Añejo tequilas undergo a longer aging process. This makes them a more appealing option for sipping or drinking neat, while Reposado can be used in a wider range of cocktails.
