Origen Tequila Perfected Over Time, Hand-Picked by George Strait
While George Strait was on location for a music video at the Código 1530 distillery in Amatitán, Mexico, he selected six extraordinary barrels of tequila that had been thoughtfully aged for six years in French White Oak Napa Valley Cabernet wine barrels. Código 1530 has released those batches as the limited-edition George Strait Origen Tequila.
Like all Código offerings, the Origen features only the highest-quality ingredients: perfectly ripe agave, local yeast, and fresh Amatitán water filtered through the volcanic soil of Los Bajos. Tequila aficionados may savor the eloquent taste neat, over ice, or incorporated into their favorite classic cocktails.
